All of us have a thing in common and that is we've all been hurt.Be it for a silly reason or a serious betrayal. A friend,family member,a random stranger or even God can be the reason behind it. Sometimes it can even be you and that would be in the form of 'Guilt'.
It can't be helped in most of the cases.Even things like not being invited to a party or a friend forgetting your birthday can hurt a lot at times, though eventually you may find it a silly reason to be brooding over or in some cases,things might just worsen with time.Now the thing is that you can't control or predict the behavior of the people around you,so why let them control yours by ruining your day? You can't stop people from doing or saying something that might hurt you, but you can try not to feel bad about it.The first thing to do is to keep your priorities straight.Just give it a thought,is that person really that important to you,to be able to control your feelings? Is he that powerful that he can ruin your day? make you feel low? If the answer is no, then there's nothing to feel bad about. Don't let some x y z hurt you!
If the person means a lot to you then weigh the situation and decide if it was intentional or not.Most of the times its unintentional from the people who care about you, so the best thing to do is to forgive and forget! If it seems to be intentional,then its a clear indication that you don't mean as much to the person as he does to u,and the best thing to do is just let it go! As you cannot control the way people feel about you, the best thing to do is move on..why care about them when they don't! Don't let it affect your self-esteem.
If you cannot do that then just think about the people who have bigger and serious problems ..real problems! There are people struggling to even survive on this planet let alone thinking about what others think of them,There are people who have been subjected to injustice by the people in power and sometimes by God himself,There are people who are going through really hard times...when you think about it that way,i bet what you feel would be the last thing to feel bad about! Just remember that there are people who still love and care about you,who are always by your side.So don't be hurt if someone is being mean to you,instead thank them for teaching you a lesson by letting you know the people who are actually there for you,who really care!
